 Italian Cooking and Yoga Retreat in Italy (Puglia) Program

At the Italian cooking class, together we will make a wide range of Mediterranean appetizers and typical Puglian dishes including stuffed meatballs, rolls, tomatoes in olive oil, bruschetta, pancakes with sauces and plenty of others. On this Italian cookery course you will prepare different types of fresh pasta like Cavatelli and Orecchiette in the authentic way with typical sauces. You will learn how to make barese pizza and focaccia with different stone ground flour.

All participants of the Italian cooking classes will receive a cookbook including recipes of all the dishes made during their stay, an exclusive apron and a certificate on completion of the Italian cooking course. Vedaguru Centre has chosen dishes that can easily be made at home, using ingredients that you can find in the market wherever you live.

Morning: Parmigiana

Apulian salty biscuits (Taralli) Veg Omelette with zucchini and mint

Afternoon:   visit the historical centre of Conversano

Taste the famous “spumone”

Day 3

Morning: Pastatelle ( typical sweet) Fava beans and chicory

Afternoon: visit the historical village of Polignano a Mare

Taste the famous biological ice-cream

 Day 4

Morning: Starters, Fresh Pasta like Orecchiette and Cavatelli

Focaccia Barese and Salad

Afternoon: Visit Alberobello (Unesco site) (4pm)

Taste the famous “pasticciotto”

 Day 5

Morning: Tiella Barese ( rice, potatoes and mussels)Baked mussels, Mackerel in mediterranean style ( with olives, capers and tomatoes) – Homamade liquors (Preparation of Limoncello)

 Afternoon: Visit Monopoli

 Day 6

Morning: Veg Risotto, Octapus with potatoes, Intorchiate

Free afternoon or Castellana Caves

Day 7

Breakfast and departure or free day with departure on saturday
