Rejuvenate body, mind and soul with the practice of yoga, cook genuine traditional Italian food and discover the beautiful Sardinia.
Join us at the “Menhirs”, a residential hotel in typical local style immersed in the nature of the Sinis Peninsula, where Graziella will teach you all the secrets of a quintessential Sardinian kitchen. We will use seasonal vegetables from friends’ organic vegetable gardens and local markets.
You will learn how to cook antipasti, homemade pasta, sauces, local fish, vegetarian dishes and dessert.
The lessons are informal and Graziella is flexible and willing to add dishes on request according to your taste and time.
We will start with the preparation of a variety of Sardinian and Italian fresh pasta like Ravioli, Fregola, Tagliatelle or Gnocchi.
If you would like you can also learn how to cook typical Italian dishes like Spaghetti alla Carbonara, Spaghetti all’Amatriciana, Seafood Spaghetti, Lasagne, Parmigiana di Melanzane, Pizza and Focaccia.
During the week we will practice yoga before breakfast and we will explore some beautiful places, discovering flamingos and walking in lovely areas with Elena.

We will do an amazing walk along the enchanted cliffs of Sinis – early spring and autumn is wonderful as wild flowers brighten the verdant landscape and flocks of migrating gorgeous pink flamingo swarm to the lagoons.
We will arrive at one of the peninsula’s most famous beaches, Is Aruttas: it is known as the beach of the grains of rice, composed of small colourful grains of quartz, alongside crystal clear sea.

After breakfast you have the day to yourselves to do some sightseeing or enjoy the peaceful surroundings
This is an ideal day to set out for a sailing trip to the island of Maldiventre; or our guide can organize an excursion to the Civic Museum of Cabras where you can see the famous “Giants” of Mont’e Prama – statues about 2 meters high that represent warriors; or visit the archaeological area of Santa Cristina and its nuragic sacred well – one of the most interesting and important archaeological sites to represent the Nuragic culture.

Morning visit the nearby archaeological ruins of the Phoenician-Roman town of Tharros and San Salvatore – a village that was used for Western films. The small church is built on top of a prehistoric underground sanctuary, a hypogeum, that was used for water cults.
